Responsibilities:Â Welders will be responsible for joining various types of metal using appropriate welding techniques, use provided prints to meet specifications and measurements, meet scheduling deadlines, and maintain an organized workspace.
Experience preferred, but not required. On the job training available.
Skills: Ability to read and understand prints, understand and strive to meet deadlines, excellent verbal communication.
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. at times with help, prolonged periods of standing.

About the Job:
B&G Industries, Inc. is looking for a qualified, passionate Configured Products Engineer to support the development and maintenance of our configured product lines utilizing DriveWorks. This role will be part of our Configured Products Team and will own the product lifecycle from conceptualization to operation. The candidate should be familiar with setting up and running DriveWorks, and be familiar with sheet metal and weldment design in SOLIDWORKS. As part of the Configured Products team the candidate will work closely with management, sales, IT and manufacturing to ensure all configured products are executed properly. Candidate should have at least 2 years of DriveWorks and SOLIDWORKS post-education experience. In this role, the candidate will also assist and lead new product development, design validation and continuous improvement projects with little to no supervision. Candidates should have a high mechanical aptitude, skilled in organization, and have an eye for detail. Candidates should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Job Responsibilities:
- Create and manage groups and projects in DriveWorks. Including the conversion of existing products and development of new products
- Create accurate 3D models, Drawings and BOMs using SOLIDWORKS CAD
- Perform design validation of products to ensure proper fit, form and function
- Support the maintenance and operation of the configurator system
- Collaborate with manufacturing, inventory and other engineering staff to ensure high quality and accuracy
- Adhere to B&G standards and best practices
- Creation and management of standards and processes
- Use of SOLIDWORKS Product Database Management (PDM) system

In this role, the candidate would have ownership of designing products to unique customer specifications, and providing custom engineered solutions as needed. The Product Design Engineer will be responsible for ensuring products meet engineering quality requirements, and are manufacturable. Job summary:
B&G Industries, INC is looking for a qualified, passionate SOLIDWORKS CAD Draftsmen to help support the creation of models and production prints for manufacture. As part of our drafting team, the candidate would be responsible for developing 3D models, drawings and BOM to match order specifications and meet quality standards. Candidate should have at least 1 year (or 2,000 hours) of SOLIDWORKS modeling and drafting experience. Experience with sheet metal, weldments, PDM is a plus. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
