Job:Â Saw Operator

Schedule: Monday – Thursday Part-Time
Job summary:Â This person will be responsible for setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut or trim metallic or non-metallic materials to correct lengths and measurements. Â They will choose and install blades on machinery using hand-tools and verify dimensions of finished material using measuring devices.Â
Responsibilities: Reads and interprets basic blueprints. Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures for OSHA requirements. Maintains safe and clean working environment. Performs basic preventive maintenance on saw equipment. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Skills: Be mechanically inclined. Prioritize, schedule, and review work. Effectively and safely operate tools and equipment. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Meet schedules and timelines.    Â

Job: Powder Coat Painter
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday-Thursday. Overtime as assigned.
Job Summary: A Powder Coat Painter will powder coat paint a variety of surfaces including, Steel, Aluminum, and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified.
Responsibilities: you will be responsible for powder coating materials meeting B&G’s standards. You will be responsible for setting the powder coating machine up to coat materials as well as trouble shoot various powder coating issues to ensure a quality product.
Skills: Knowledge of oven and wash bay procedures, maintenance and operations. Report problems with quality to supervisor. A good eye for quality issues. Ongoing training for powder application processes that may change.  Able to change nozzles within the powder system, dump and refill stages as needed. Cleaning knowledge to keep area clean and tidy. Preforms all other duties as required.
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.  Must be self-motivated. Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail and quality. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Â

Job: CNC/Mill Operator

Job summary:
The Mill Operator will operate and maintain a Fadal Vertical Machining Center. The Fadal VMC is a CNC mill that uses an assortment of tools to remove material from stock to produce parts for production. Basic operations include loading material, program setup, monitoring machining steps, discharging contents, and maintaining production records. All work must be performed following B&G Industries’ operating standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Operates the CNC mill to achieve the proper dimensions and locations of machined features (pockets, holes, tapped holes, etc.) on steel and aluminum parts.
Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into a program for the machine to read.
Performs the proper set-up and calibration processes for the equipment and tooling used for each job.
Verifies the dimensions and overall quality of machined parts.
Follows all company safety protocols.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Must be able to read blueprints/CAD designs.
Basic computer skills required (typing, file management).
Some experience with G-code/programming preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical requirements:
Standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift-up to 50-60 lbs. with help.

- Communicate with customers on a regular basis
